Volkswagen has taken the occasion of the Beijing Motor Show as opportunity to debut its latest sedan. Called the Lavida, it's the second-generation of a model produced in China specifically for the Chinese market.
Can't figure out what you're looking at? Call it a Chinese version of the Jetta, with which it shares its platform. Shanghai Volkswagen - the joint venture under which the Lavida is produced - had sold 700,000 units of the first-generation model from its introduction in 2008 through January 2012. The company surely hopes the new Lavida will sell even more. Read all about it in the press release below.
